About Our Founder
In June 2020, Mr. Barnes founded Neuro Advisors, drawing on 25 years of leadership experience with some of the largest and fastest-growing startup medical device companies. He began his career at US Surgical Corporation and subsequently held various commercial leadership roles at Codman (a division of J&J), Boston Scientific Neurovascular, Stryker Neurovascular, Longeviti Neurosurgery, and Kaneka Neurovascular.
Most recently, serving as General Manager of Kaneka Neurovascular North America, Mr. Barnes oversaw all US operations, providing the Japanese executive leadership team with the vision and strategic plan for the US launch of the lED coil. Beyond managing the day-to-day operations of the business, he led recruitment efforts for the field sales team, marketing, clinical research, and sales operations activities.
Mr. Barnes also played a significant role in collaborating with the Business Development team to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets.
